Practice

Practice is where reflection becomes embodied and life itself becomes contemplative.

In Room to Evolve, practice is the container for cultivating presence and surrender—an ongoing commitment to the contemplative life. Through a steady rhythm of practice and prayer, we learn to live with greater grace, awareness, and availability to the movement of Spirit in our lives.

These offerings invite you to slow down, listen inwardly, and meet life as it is through breath, movement, stillness, prayer, and contemplative ritual. Over time, this way of practicing shapes not only our inner landscape, but also how we show up in the world—calling us toward compassion, right action, and a quieter, more luminous hope.

Begin where you are. Return as often as you need. Let the practices meet you differently each time.

The Welcoming Prayer

This short practice introduces the Welcoming Prayer—a contemplative way of meeting life as it is, without resistance or self-judgment. You’re invited to listen inwardly, notice your responses, and rest in presence.

This is the first session in Practice Through: Contemplative and Therapeutic Practices for Challenging Times. This 11-class series offers tools and techniques from yogic and monastic traditions that support nervous system steadiness, mental clarity, and soul connection.

Pilgrimage to the Heart: Yoga and Labyrinth

This mini-workshop is a gentle, guided journey inward as we combine the meditative practice of labyrinth tracing, or handheld labyrinth, with breath-centered yoga and stillness. Labyrinth work is an ancient practice born of walking a pilgrimage. And now from the comfort of your own space, you’ll explore the embodied presence and the quiet wisdom that arises when you slow down and listen. Bring your sense of adventure and curiosity!
